   To Qualify for Fulbright Foundation Scholarship Obama Had to Claim Foreign Citizenship! (A Smoking Gun?)

       AP- WASHINGTON D.C. -   In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama’s qualifications for the presidency, the group “Americans for Freedom of Information” has released copies of President Obama’s college transcripts from Occidental College. Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school.   The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program    To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama’s detractors have been seeking.

      The news has created a firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama’s legitimacy and qualification to serve as president.   When reached for comment in London, where he has been in meetings with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Obama smiled but refused comment on the issue.   Meanwhile, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs scoffed at the report stating that this was obviously another attempt by a right-wing conservative group to discredit the president and undermine the administration’s efforts to move the country in a new direction.

      Britain's Daily Mail has also carried the story in a front-page article titled, “Obama Eligibility Questioned”, leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama’s first official visit to the U.K.

      In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama’s legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey. This lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving as President. Donofrio’s case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama’s citizenship or qualification to serve as president.

      Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama’s campaign spending.   This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records.    Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. attorney general, Eric Holder.   Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter

Commercial Real Estate: This will e he largest failure the finnacial commuity will see and will could account for a big chunk of the government's stress test estimate of $599 billion of future bank losses (and this estimate is wrong itself. The failure of commercial real estate will be more than the 73 billion dollar bail out and approack 1 trillion.
Option ARMs: These "pick-a-payment" mortgages will lead to "waves of foreclosures" starting next year in the "hundreds of billions of dollars.
Credit Card Debt: With unemployment rising and home equity loans unavailable to most Americans, this is a "major problem that's going to take down major lenders.

And Washington continues to do the Democratic thing of spend and in all the wrong places. Instead of putting the money in the hands of the consumers who put it back into the economy, as 2/3 our our economy is based on consumer spending, they keep throwing it at inefficient businesses. And the first thing these businesses do is pay their executives bonuses because " that is how you keep good pe9ple. "

Been on a vacation of sorts. Well, actually just away from here, as I was working on the areas that will not be effected by this financial crunch.

Thise areas are Internet related businesses but I won't go into that because that would be a commercial plug for what I am doing.

Speaking of heading...GM is heading to bankruptcy, unemplyment figures are heading upward and the stock market will retreat back into the mid 7,000's by next Wednesday.

I know that Obama's chief economist sounded the all clear last week that the recession had bottomed out and we could all breathe a collective sigh of relief. Apparently, he knows as little about his job as his boss does about his.

So, be prepared because it is coming. As a matter of fact, I will make a bold prediction and stand by it: By June of 2010, we wil have a stock market that is 5,600 and that may be over-estimating it.

30 years ago the Democratic envoys of the Carter Administration, took a unreported trip to China to beg for money for the mighty U.S.

Since then it has become de rigeur to head over to see the new chairman to obtain more money, even if it is to just continue paying our debt to them. Yes, China is our rice bowl.

Well, it is time to pay the piper and we will pay dearly because we are China's exporting partner and even though they can't stand us, they need us. They need us to continuously buy whatever they make.

Of course, Walmart is responsible for importing 12% of all the good made in China. Oh, and a quick note for those of you who do not follow economic matters: WalMart is also responsible for 19% of all the businesses in America that go under because they have priced them out.

But now is a special time. China knows we are floundering but does not want to lose us as a trading partner (like, we have a choice). So the U.S. with it's low dollar is a prime market for more exports.

But our dollar is really tied to China, so they get to control both ends of the export and value continuum.

Isn't it relaxing when our country no oonger has to govern itself. Now, maybe they can get those potholes fixed!!!

I just have to wait a little bit longer for this country to head into the dumper more, to the point where the middle class is actually pissed off enough to get motivated for "CHANGE".

First all children would be required to view movies from the 1940's and 1950's to get a view point beyond Spears, Jonas brothers, 50 cent, Hannah Montana etc.

Next, the right to defend oneself would be reinstituted......ie a bully in school picks on your kid, he has the right to knock the crap out of the scumbag, without "touchy feely" crap from some school marm.

Drug dealers......especially to kids will automatically be joining the chain gang and performing highway, street cleaning, public facility toilet cleaning.

Teachers and schools will no longer be allowed to instill self hatred, loathing to white kids about themselves, or their country.....and simply teach history as it happened in the context of the times it took place.

Elimination of stupid topics like gay marriage, legal rights of terrorists, and of course removal of illegals....especially those who show up at our hospitals and schools for a free ride!

Idiotic debate over survival topics and national sovereignty would be removed from the "public airways" as moot and not to be used as a distraction from real issues of bringing back jobs to this nation, reducing crap imports and drilling our own oil, while proceeding with new energy sources. There would be no "sharing" of discoveries with shithole nations like China, Korea, India, Pakistan, Russia (still sharing the space station???). Africa should remain a quaint backward continent......until its "tribes" learn to dump their voodoo concepts on life and health standards.

The list is endless, but basically it returns to the idea of keeping those "values" (overused term) that have worked or helped society exist in a relatively peaceful form, and dumping the failed, blood sucking ideas that have moved the criminal, addict, idiot to the forefront of importance. Equality of outcome is to be eliminated......let the bright people who have common sense also run things, let the bumbling idiot do what society feels charitable to let them do. The dumbing down of white kids to make minorities look "equal" should be a crime. Dont change the standards because blacks cant read.......just so they can get a quota in the PD or FD or some college class......its what has diminished our self responsibility, inventiveness and success.

Tough times compel people to rein in spending, cancel pricey subscription services like premium cable, mail in product rebate receipts, and collect food coupons. But the aggregate savings from those activities could end up looking like pocket change compared to billions of dollars in unclaimed property being held in state controllers' and the U.S. Treasury's coffers.

The Bureau of Public Debt, part of the U.S. Treasury Dept., says more than $16.6 billion worth of unredeemed U.S. savings bonds have matured and are no longer earning interest. The bureau has established a Web site, www.treasuryhunt.gov , for people to search for a missing bond by the original owner's Social Security number.

Most people don't realize that even if the original holder of a bond has died, their heirs can still redeem it. Heirs can download a series of documents from www.treasurydirect.gov that enable them to state their relationship to the original owner and send in a copy of legal documentation, like a will or estate agreement, that proves it. Anyone who knowingly provides false information on these forms could potentially be brought up on perjury charges, according to the Treasury Dept.

In addition, at the end of 2008, there was more than $32 billion in unclaimed money sitting in state treasury coffers across the country. Unclaimed property accrues from a wide range of sources, including final paychecks that employees never collected, abandoned bank accounts, stock and bond certificates put away in safe deposit boxes or hidden under floor boards in homes, consumer product rebate checks, and utility deposits. Some of the money will never find its match, such as unused gift certificates at retailers which aren't required to keep records of who bought them.

There are more than 42 million individual Series E bonds bought between 1941 and 1978 that have fully matured and comprise the vast majority of the bonds that can be redeemed from the Treasury Dept. The E bonds were issued in denominations of $25 to $10,000 at 75% of face value and can be redeemed for between four and 12 times face value. The highest multiples apply to those bonds that locked in peak interest rates for 10 years if they entered an automatic 10-year extension period when those higher rates were in effect, such as between November 1981 and October 1982, he says.

Some savings bonds will never be redeemed, such as a portion of those bought during World War II "that were deliberately destroyed during bond rallies" in patriotic support of the government war effort. Some heirs choose to hold onto bonds in their relatives' names because they're the only keepsake left. Other bonds just get lost along the way, and the heirs don't have enough information to even consider making a claim.

Only E bonds issued in 1974 or later can be searched at www.treasuryhunt.gov, since most issues before 1974 didn't require owners' Social Security numbers. The Bureau can still search its records for them but would need a letter from a claimant to start the process, says Meyerhardt.

The Treasury is holding another $62.8 million worth of matured H bonds, issued from 1952 through 1979. Also known as current-income bonds, they paid interest semi-annually prior to maturity and can be redeemed only at face value since there's virtually no outstanding interest left to be paid on them.

It seems the only money not being held or lost is the paychecks of the Senate and Congress.
